My YouTube Story Part 1

Let me tell you my story..... I created my account way back in 2009  and during that time I just watch other people's content.

It was Michellle Phan that I got obsessed  with during those days, and then I found a tiny little bit of self confidence and I film myself using my samsung camera and edited my video using windows software.

My first ever video filming myself

That's the birth of my first ever beauty product review the Chin chun su review/Routine which I am very proud to say that it gained about 17K views from the day I uploaded it and as I write this blog today.

Maybe you're wondering why I didn't continue filming myself? it was because I didn't expect people will watch me, or my review/routine because of my break outs (pimples),  furthermore I experienced teasing a mild form of bullying from my mates those who saw my video " tinutukso nila ako na gumagamit ako ng chin chun su" and because of that  I lost confidence and stopped uploading content.

I continue with my life with out checking my Youtube account plus the fact that I forgot the password LOL.

Fast forward to Year 2016 it was during the summer time that I went home to The Philippines to spend time with my family. We went for day swim and I got tons of clips and photos, I decided to make a compilation of all the videos and add some effects and upload it to my channel. It was my first time to use iMovie, and I am totally clueless  how this video editor works.

My family in The Philippines.

In September 2016 me & my husband had a five days trip to Boracay, Aklan Philippines and again I got tons of clips and photo with me after the trip. This time I'm trying to build the confidence in vlogging while in public places.

on board Tiger airways bound to Kalibo

Here's my Boracay trip video clip compilation which I edit using iMovie.

my 1st boracay travel video

I got inspired that I created another one and uploaded it again on YouTube.

I can't get enough of boracay so I created another one  lol.

Thanks to our the family outing and Boracay trip, I was able to figure out what I really want to do this life. I WANT TO CREATE VIDEOS , CONTENT and SHARE INFORMATION to all the people out there.I got my confidence to start again, I went ahead and did a research online for the next content of channel and I came up with the most common question asked by my friends every time they see me.

I came up with 5 difficulties in finding job in Singapore, this video was uploaded in November  14, 2016 and it gained around 2,200+ plus views from day 1 and the views continue to climb up and I am very happy about that.

Now which part of this story that I got lost? ...... to be continue....

Hello there Lovely people!  I am back with another Tag , this tag that I found online is kind of interesting especially  when you just meet the person and you want know more about her or him.

This has 20 questions and I hope that you won't get bore reading all the way down to number 20, now let's get started.

1. Did you wake up cranky?
I didn't not wake up cranky however I woke up late and tired, normally I get up before 9:30 in the morning but today is different, I woke up at 9:50 to be exact just the right time to get to shower and get ready to go to work, and that means no breakfast at home.  😐

Of course not! aside from the fact that I am already married , 18 year old kiddo is like my nephew . deng!

3. Do  you prefer to be friends with girls or boys?
Most of my friends are girls, I guess girls so that we can talk about boys, lol! 😅but honestly at my age it doesn't matter if you are a guy or a girl as long as we connect and you are honest and true friend, not a user-friendly friend then we can be friends.

Childhood Tag Question

Warning: Long Blog ahead

Childhood questions Tag is one of the best and fun tag that I saw on YouTube, although I was not tag by a fellow content creator,  I tag myself voluntarily  yes I did  hahaha and I had so much fun talking about it and double the fun when I start to edit the video as I get to insert more pictures of my childhood.

This tag has 14 questions and here's my answer:

1. What was your favorite Cereal?
Well, I grew up in a Filipino family and Cereal was not part of my growing up, we grew up with fried rice and porridge and we called it "Lugaw".

There were days that my Nanay (Mother) will prepare Plain porridge and we will just add salt or sugar on it, on a feeling lucky day we will have a Champorado this is a type of  porridge that has cocoa in it , sometimes we add coconut milk and we uses black sticky rice and that's gonna be one of the best breakfast ever!

My favorite was arroz caldo a type of porridge that has chicken, sauteed in onions, ginger and garlic we also add chili leaves to complete the menu, honestly this is my go to porridge, you can't go wrong with ginger and onions after all.

2. What was your favorite show?
There were a lot of good shows during my childhood days,  although we didn't own a Television, we were lucky to have a family friend that has one and we were able to watch wit them. I cannot remember when exactly we had our first TV, and  first electricity maybe I'll share that in a different blog. Going back to my favorite show:

Before I was introduced to Sesame Street we had this Filipino children's show called Batibot, the show basically teaches kids how to read, count and even teaches good values. I really love this show and their mascots as well.
My favorite was kiko Matsing at  Pong Pagong
and Manang Bola.

Another  favorite show of mine was "Ok ka Fairy ko", this show was all about fairies and fantasies, evil vs good fight and teaches moral values as well.

There was a radio show title ABAKADA (if I can remember it right)  it was aired daily at 4pm to 5pm over the radio this was my favorite during my earlier years in primary or elementary, me and my siblings will tune in to this AM station and will sing along with the  :

A-Ba-Ka-Da, E-Ga-Ha-I-La,
Ma-Na-Ng-O-Pa,
Ra-Sa-Ta-you-Wa-Ya
A - Ang mag-aral ay gintong tunay
Ba - Bagay na dapat pagsikapan
Ka - Karunungan ay kailangan lang
Da - Dunong ay gamot sa kamangmangan
E - Ewan ang sagot kapag hindi alam
Ga - Gagat gago ay yaong mga hangal
Ha - Hahayaan bang ikay magkagayon
I - Iwasan mo habang may pagkakataon
Adlib

Ma-Na-Ng-O-Pa,
Ra-Sa-Ta-you-Wa-Ya

How to clean your make up brushes fast & easy without breaking your wallet

Yep, you read it right in this blog I am very much excited to share with you this tips & tricks that I learned and I've been doing this trick since then.

Although I am not a make up enthusiast  I own couple of pairs of make up brushes like foundation brush &  blush brush to name a few and these two were my favorites. It is a must to wash our brushes at least once a week to keep it clean and soft, you don't want the bacteria from your brushes to touch your face, don't you? heck no! that is why I am sharing this quick tip that I always practice with my own brushes.

It is so easy that you do not need to go to supermarket to buy because these three ingredients are just in your pantry .

  1. Dishwashing liquid
  2. Extra Virgin Olive oil  or Olive oil
  3. Flat surface Plate

 How to do it ?

Get your flat surface plate and  pour some dishwashing liquid

Grab your Olive oil and pour on top of the dishwashing liquid.

Mixed it with your fingers.
Give your brushes a head start by washing it with running water.

One by one dip your brushes in the mixture, by making a circular motion while pressing
the handle to make sure the soap and oil will reach the root of your brushes, it will look like you're playing,  (lol) always remember to have fun 😉.

You may repeat this process and redo your mixture until you reached your desired cleanliness.

Then go ahead and rinse it with running water.

You may dry them by arranging it on a flat surface with tissue paper , tissue paper will absorb the water from your brushes.

Another way to dry them is to use your laundry tool  that you can find in Daiso or value dollar shop this always comes in handy, the best way to dry all the brushes.

Viola!! your brushes are now super clean yey!! I hope that you learned something  and do not forget to subscribe, share  this article to your family and friends,

Let me know how you wash your make up brushes I would love to read them, please leave your comment below.

Thank you and see you next time!!

Chinese New Year Highlights

Hello February! Yeah I know It's been a while since my last blog and I am kinda guilty of that, I didn't even have any blog in the month of  January 2017,   how possible is that?  well that is because Christmas and Chinese New Year's gap is just too short that I wasn't able to do much and I apologise for that.  My schedule was full that I was unable to finished my Vlogmas day 13 to  24 Blog,  which I hope it won't happen this year but you may find my playlist right here

Before the dinner we shop for some decorations to help us and our place to look like and feel like festive.

During the most important Dinner  of Chinese New Year , Me & my husband spend the day in the supermarket hoarding food, yeah yah heard it right , hahaha hoarding because supermarket will be closed the next day for few days. We want to make sure that we have enough food supplies for few days because Chinese New Year for us will be like  resting & staying at home and do nothing but eat , hahaha!

On the night of Chinese New Year's Eve we had teppanyaki + shabu-shabu for dinner, combination of marinated meat like chicken & pork , we also have salmon , prawn, tofu, and green veggies like bochoy  & etc.

Do you want to see more of what happened on that day ?  visit my youtube channel or  click here

Now February is coming to its end and before that happens let me give you another  highlights of this festive " The Dragon Dance" February 11, 2017  was the last day of 15 days celebration of Chinese New Year and I was fortunate to witness the big event and I am very much happy to share it to each and everyone of you reading this blog.

There were 4 groups  performers on that day,  first was long dragon that playing with a ball, it was a quick performance.

Then followed by the white dragon that played on top of the platform, performers were awesome and very skilful, their stunt was smooth and fantastic.

Next was the Drummers, their drums was huge and when they started to hit them, it was so powerful that for instance I felt like I'm in China or some sort of Movie hahaha, my heart was pounding and I totally enjoyed their performance.

Now one of the most scary part which I believe will make you nervous, these two cutie dragon will have to climb this pole and do their stunt on top of it, typing that alone makes me nervous already Lol.

Incredibly skilful guys and confident not to mention not afraid of height hahaha.

Grand finale performance is when the dragon dances and show off and "eat" the mandarin oranges as the dragon food .

To watch my vlog check my YouTube Channel THATEVEFABIE or you may click here for the link
I hope that you were entertain by this blog that I purposely include a lot of pictures, hahaha. Let me know how you celebrate your Chinese New Year and if you're not  Chinese how you spent your long weekend vacation!

See you next time!
